Golden Eagles Trip (April 27/17)

The Saskatoon Nature Society has an offshoot group of retirees who enjoy birding. We get together each Thursday morning for a planned outing. Today it was out to Osler and then along the Neuhorst road and the surrounding area. It was chilly but we saw lots of birds.

I was happy to get two new birds to add to my life list:

Rough-legged Hawk

Greater Yellowlegs

and better photos than I had before of four other birds:

Greater White-fronted Goose

Vesper Sparrow

Horned Grebe

European Starling

Not a bad day at all!
