A Weighty Problem – Update 2

It’s been awhile since I updated you on my journey to shed some poundage.

After five months of being on Weight Watchers (on-line, so I don’t have to go to meetings), I have reached 64% of my goal! It has been a very positive experience.

Of course, I wanted to keep this “real”, so I went off the program over Christmas and New Years. I really enjoyed eating and drinking whatever I wanted over the holidays. I really enjoyed it. Then it took the first three weeks of January to re-lose what I gained! But it was worth it. 🙂

So what ‘s the good news?

  • The pants that used to be difficult to do up, I can now slip on without undoing them.
  • I’ve started jog/walking at the track again and my knees are not complaining.
  • I feel better, and have more energy.
  • I’m proud of how I’ve done.

I’m not actively tracking everything I eat anymore, but I am still following the program. If I don’t lose another pound, I’m still okay with what I’ve accomplished. And if I continue to lose, I’m okay with that, too.

  1. Congratulations! I’m so happy for you that you’re moving again and feeling better. I’ve been sedentary for a few months, just getting back to yoga, feeling like a beginner again. The good thing about starting over is the feeling of gratitude–my limbs haven’t fallen off. That would be embarrassing. And congratulations about the book!!! Please let me know when it’s out and about. I want one…at least one:)
