It’s been awhile since I updated you on my journey to shed some poundage.
After five months of being on Weight Watchers (on-line, so I don’t have to go to meetings), I have reached 64% of my goal! It has been a very positive experience.
Of course, I wanted to keep this “real”, so I went off the program over Christmas and New Years. I really enjoyed eating and drinking whatever I wanted over the holidays. I really enjoyed it. Then it took the first three weeks of January to re-lose what I gained! But it was worth it. 🙂
So what ‘s the good news?
- The pants that used to be difficult to do up, I can now slip on without undoing them.
- I’ve started jog/walking at the track again and my knees are not complaining.
- I feel better, and have more energy.
- I’m proud of how I’ve done.
I’m not actively tracking everything I eat anymore, but I am still following the program. If I don’t lose another pound, I’m still okay with what I’ve accomplished. And if I continue to lose, I’m okay with that, too.
